For the last two Sundays, I went out to search for a suitable 4x4 that can meet my requirements on my border-crossing journey. The 4x4 vehicles that I have come across have brought significant fear and doubt as to whether it can really take the terrains of the expedition. I am totally relying on my mechanics to furnish them with full reconditioning jobs on these 4x4 vehicles. The greatest challenge is to find the spare parts to flush the gearbox oil, to fix the air-conditioner’s compressor and blower, and many more major jobs.

My mechanic strongly recommended me to use this four-wheel drive for my border crossing art tourism.

This unit is newly purchased and is currently undergoing full reconditioning.

Here’s another unit that I am contemplating for a full reconditioning job.

This 4x4 needs to be properly equipped with communications equipment.

I had discussed with many people about my Art Quest border crossing expedition. Most of them had advised me to use a four-wheel drive. For the last 2 weekends, I had visited many 4x4 showrooms and I had numerous opinions to venture out into such unfamiliar lands; my vehicle could be robbed because it is brand new, hence it might be unsafe. I had consulted the workshop for the most ideal 4x4 and guess what? These are the 4x4 vehicles introduced to me.

I wonder what is this 4x4?

What do you think this looks like?

This looks like just came back from a war in the Middle East, do you think it can do the job?

There are many things to learn and experience as we live on. Even as I embark on this border-crossing art quest, I do not know what is coming for me. But one thing I know for sure when I cross each border, we share a common factor, ‘Rice’ as our staple food.

From what I have researched, I know that the journey will not be an easy one. I have to bear in mind that majority of the roads in every country are going to be difficult for my quest. Certain terrains will be challenging for me as well. I also put in consideration that I will face environmental and climate challenges. For instance, the road condition during and after pouring of the rain can be a tough challenge.

Therefore, I have decided to engage 4WDs(4-Wheel Drives) to transport artists through any terrain that a normal vehicle could not. The advantage provided by a 4WD is in the acceleration. If the road gets muddy or sandy, a 4WD will reduce the chances of our vehicles getting stuck. It also helps with traction and towing.

Does anyone know what is the most suitable 4WD for this quest?
